BJ HHH Announced as New RS Sailing Distributor in China

Beijing HHH Sports Technology Co. Ltd. (BJ HHH)is officially announced as the new Chinese distributor for RS Sailing as the first shipment of boats is due to arrive in China this month.

An importer of world-class sailing boats for Chinese sailing federations, associations and individual athletes, BJ HHH is based in Beijing and supports a range of sailing programs with activity and event organisation too.

Celebrating three decades this year, RS Sailing was born from a passion to use the latest design and technology to create inspiring boats. Evolving from designing and manufacturing heritage racing fleets, the award-winning RS Sailing range has grown to include boats for beginners, families as well as clubs and sail training programs. The brand now represents some of the most vibrant class association-oriented communities in the world, chosen by industry leading organisations globally. RS Sailing is the world’s largest small-sailboat brand, distributing over 3,000 boats per year to all corners of the globe, and BJ HH has now joined the RS family as the distributor for China.

BJ HHH signed the distributor agreement in a ceremony at the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show in February. Officials from the company flew to the UK to attend the event in Farnborough International. BJ HHH CEO Rean Chen met with RS Marine Group CEO Jon Partridge for the official signing.

The first shipment of boats departed to China from RS Sailing’s warehouse last month, and will arrive in China this month. The range includes models from the RS Tera, RS Zest, RS Quest, RS Feva and RS Aero fleets.

Rean Chen, CEO of BJ HHH, chose to partner with RS Sailing over alternative companies due to a variety of positive factors. “RS sailboats are ahead of other ship manufactures in terms of design, innovation, and performance. The diversified RS Sailing products will play an important role in promoting the comprehensive development of China’s sailing sport.”

BJ HHH primarily caters to the sport development market, working with a wide range of programs from learn-to-sail stages all the way through to professional sailors. “RS Sailing products match the current needs of the Chinese sailing sports enthusiasts and of future development. They provide better options for professional sailors.”

BJ HHH will work closely with sailing associations that offer taster and training opportunities. “Sailing in China is experiencing development opportunities, that is, the improvement of social cognition and the growth of market demand. Beijing HHH will co-operate closely with RS Sailing to promote Chinese sailing events, training, and other activities.”

Jon Partridge, CEO at RS Marine Group, is delighted that BJ HHH has chosen RS Sailing as a partner. “I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship between our two great organisations. We may be divided by distance, but we are united by our passion for the sport of sailing. This common bond will help us achieve many wonderful things together.”
