As Ben Willows, CEO of RS Marine Group, steps down in April 2026 to take up a new role with the Royal Ocean Racing Club, Alex Newton-Southon will assume leadership of RS Sailing.

Alex will lead the business with the support of the company directors, the shareholder board, and the highly experienced RS team. RS Sailing’s refreshed governance and leadership structure provides a strong framework to guide the company forward.

With over 30 years of knowledge and experience within the business and the wider sailing industry, Alex is exceptionally well placed to continue RS Sailing’s leadership of the global RS community.
